literally chaol is such an angel he always worries for celaena but he lets her be her own person. he never tells her not to do something because he’s against it. all he does is tell her to be careful. he worries for her safety but he doesn’t interfere because he knows she can handle anything. he doesn’t once send word to aelin while she’s away because chaol’s priority is that aelin is safe and happy and he literally doesn’t care if he’ll never see her again as long as she’s okay. he never once holds her back in fact he’s the one that pushes her forward and she’ll always know that he’ll be there to support her. that is literally boyfriend goals.
